Asturias is not just another region of Spain, it has something special and above all it is one of those places where time stands still and where you can find charming villages and immense peace. Can you imagine being able to enjoy yourself in a century-old stately home decorated with exquisite taste? We welcome you to La Casona, one of those properties that make you fall in love from the first moment and that has been restored with great care and detail, following criteria of sustainability and respect for the environment, with high-quality finishes, equipment and furniture.
Located in La Focella, an idyllic mountain village, with a beautiful lagoon and what is, in turn, a good viewpoint of the mountains of the Páramo river valley. It is located in the surroundings of the Montegrande beech forest, and can be accessed from Páramo, on the road to Puerto de la Ventana. From La Focella, you can take hiking routes such as the Navariegas brañas or the Xiblu waterfall. La Casona is the ideal place for families or people who want to disconnect from the city (does not have WI-Fi). Distributed over three floors, its main entrance and hall are currently available, from which you can access, via a beautiful restored old staircase, to its second floor, which has a large kitchen with a living room and dining room area, three double bedrooms, two full bathrooms with shower, and a wonderful gallery that is set up as a living room. It preserves the original wooden floors of the house, as well as its beautiful restored interior carpentry. The kitchen is a large space filled with natural light, with top-quality furniture, appliances and kitchenware, and wonderful views. From the different rooms of the house you can contemplate the views of the village, and the wonderful green and mountain landscapes of the surroundings. The house has centralized aerothermal heating, super comfortable and efficient to be comfortable and warm on cold winter days, and with a pioneering photovoltaic installation in the council, to further contribute to sustainability and care for the planet. In its entrance portal and also in front of the façade, there are old wooden benches to sit down, rest and feel the village.

Stays of a minimum of 3 nights are accepted in high season (June 15 to September 15) and 2 nights the rest of the year.
