In this post, we talk about the best beaches in Mallorca sorted by location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2>Best beaches in north Mallorca<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In the north of Mallorca, we can find hidden coves and great beaches. There are some of the bests,<strong> ordered from west to east<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Cala Tuent: Cala Tuent is 100 m long. It\u2019s usually calmer than the next, Sa Calobra, so it\u2019s a good place for snorkelling.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sa Calobra: after going through a sneaky road, we arrive to Sa Calobra, which is divided in two beaches: one, Cala Sa Calobra, has 30 meter long and the other, Torrent de Pareis, 100 meter long. For arriving to this last, it\u2019s necessary to walk 1 km. The only service is a beach bar. The waves and currents can be strong, so we have to be careful, and it\u2019s not recommended for kids.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In this part of the island, we also have larger sandy beaches such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Formentor: one of the most popular beaches. It\u2019s 1.000 m long, and it\u2019s located in an unspoiled environment, surrounded by pines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Playa de Alc\u00fadia: This is the<strong> largest beach in Mallorca<\/strong>, as it is 7 km long.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Playa de Muro: It is next to Playa de Alc\u00fadia. In this beach we can find sunbeds and beach bars. It has transparent water and fine white sand.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:17px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2>Best beaches in south Mallorca<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If we focus in the <strong>south of Mallorca<\/strong>, these are some of the best beaches and coves, ordered again from west to east:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Es Trenc: in south-west of Mallorca we can go to Es Trenc, a beach with 2 km of fine sand and clear water. If you are looking for a nudist beach, next to Es Trenc is Ses Covetes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"775\" height=\"520\" src=\"https:\/\/www.homesweethomevillas.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/Es-Trenc-beach-Mallorca.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2802\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.homesweethomevillas.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/Es-Trenc-beach-Mallorca.jpg 775w, https:\/\/www.homesweethomevillas.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/Es-Trenc-beach-Mallorca-300x201.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.homesweethomevillas.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/Es-Trenc-beach-Mallorca-768x515.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 775px) 100vw, 775px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Cal\u00f3 des M\u00e0rmols: this hidden cove is usually visited by boat, as the access by foot is a little bit complicated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cal\u00f3 des Moro: Cal\u00f3 des Moro is said to be the <strong>most beautiful beach in Mallorca<\/strong>. Without any doubt, is a Mediterranean paradise. Next to it is Cala s\u2019Almunia.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.homesweethomevillas.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/Calo-des-Moro.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2808\" width=\"484\" height=\"646\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.homesweethomevillas.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/Calo-des-Moro.jpg 581w, https:\/\/www.homesweethomevillas.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/Calo-des-Moro-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 484px) 100vw, 484px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Cala S\u2019Amarador: this cove is in the south-east of Mallorca, inside a natural park. It\u2019s just 45 m long.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cala Mondrag\u00f3: with 75 m long, this is the neighbour cove of Cala s\u2019Amarador.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cala Mitjana: Next to Cala d&#8217;Or we find Cala Mitjana, a small hidden cove that it&#8217;s only 20 m long.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Cala Varques: an unspoiled beach.
