Description
El Sueño de Balafia is a property concept inspired by nature and tranquility. A hidden paradise on 20 acres of land in an authentic 300 year old Ibizan farmhouse. Slow living at its finest, featuring 9 luxuriously comfortable suites, farm-to-table biodynamic produce grown on property in an extraordinary greenhouse, countless al fresco dining spaces, a natural saltwater pool for deep relaxation of nature and an exclusive soundproof cave club to dance the night away. Art and antiques take centre stage, influenced by the finca’s colourful owners; a trio of global nomads who have found home in Ibiza’s countercultural paradise.
Located in San Lorenzo, in the northeast of the island, a small town in the municipality of San Juan with a beautiful setting. The Finca has been restored maintaining its traditional architecture and offering truly cozy spaces. This is a luxury property, but with a more authentic and bohemian slant. It has nine individually decorated double rooms, air-conditioned, bathroom (four of them in the main building), all with terraces or patios. Designed by Carmen Straatsma, they are eclectically furnished to the highest standards, with art on the walls and specially selected pieces, many made by local artisans, some of them collector's items such as the original Marcel Bruer lamps in one of the rooms. The impressive two-level Tower Suite has spectacular views of the countryside. The estate is secluded and large enough to offer a number of places to hang out, from the 13-metre long oval saltwater pool (depth 87 - 1.37 meters) with separate children's pool, bar area, petanque pitch and children's play area. Although the property places an emphasis on wellness it is also an ideal place to party. There is a bar area, a professional kitchen featuring a Josper oven and indoor and outdoor dining areas with a pizza oven, BBQ etc. There is also a fully equipped and soundproof discotheque, with a large screen to watch TV or movies. It is an ideal place for birthday, anniversary and wedding stays (it has a Tipi for holistic ceremonies and meditation)
The 15-acre woods behind the villa, where you can walk, are also part of the estate. An appealing bonus is the use of a five metre boat, ten minutes’ drive away at the cove of Cala Xarraca (under request). Whether you want to simply relax or combine it with a bit of Ibizan vibe, El Sueño de Balafia, is a seductive mix of luxury and nature, allowing you to do both and enjoy an authentic white island experience.

The main house is distributed over several levels. There are 4 bedrooms located throught the main house and the rest are located in different areas.

- Bedroom 2: (Main house), King-size double or twin room located on the first floor with a large walk-in wet room and north-facing views (28 sqm).

- Bedroom 4: (Main house), King-size double room located on the first floor with a west-facing terrace and additional living room with floor to ceiling arched windows and south-facing views. Bathroom with shower (62 sqm room and terrace).
- Bedroom 5: (Tower Suite), Two entire floors of the tower with a King-size circular bed, separate lounge room, private roof terrace with loungers and stunning 360-degree views (118 sqm)

The check in to the villa is from 4:00 pm and departure before 10:00 am
Security deposit:
The security deposit required is 10.000 Euros. It will be refunded 7 days after departure as long as there is no damage to the villa
