Description
It is common to find restored fincas in Ibiza but few with such charm as Es Novells. This former farmhouse has been lovingly restored and stylishly updated while retaining much of its original rustic character. Despite a blissful sense of remoteness, its Es Novells location puts it just minutes from the buzzing beach town of Santa Eulalia, as well as a collection of traditional island villages waiting to be explored. You will get impressed with its decoration: knotty sabina wood beams, chunky timber furnishings and cream-coloured dry stone blend with cool whitewash that merge with designer pieces and furniture, thus creating a rustic and contemporary atmosphere with an industrial touch. Although if there is something that you are going to love about this property it is its immense garden and outdoor area set in 25,000 square metres and surrounded by a diversity of native vegetation such as Lavender, bougainvillea and fruit trees, an ideal place if what you want is to enjoy nature, privacy and the charm of the island. It has a 17m x 5m pool, ideal for swimming as well as cooling off, with filtered salt water and a deck lined with smooth polished concrete. There's also no shortage of poolside loungers, and plenty of secluded spaces to relax in if you fancy some quiet time alone.
The house is distributed on one floor, which makes it ideal if you are traveling with children or people with reduced mobility. The main area of the house houses a spacious open-plan living room with a living room that exudes homely cosiness, equipped with low sectional sofas where you can stretch out in front of the fireplace and direct access to the outside. The kitchen has a modern and elegant design with a large dining table for up to a dozen people. The villa has four air-conditioned bedrooms, three in the main house and one with a separate entrance from the patio, each with its own bathroom with a walk-in shower.
