Description
Casa Atalaya is a beautiful house located in a movie setting, in a watchtower on the edge of the sea, with impressive views and nestled in the Pechón peninsula, one of the most beautiful and best kept secrets of the Cantabrian coast. At its feet, the fresh waters of the Nansa River meet those of the Cantabrian Sea, forming a picture of white foam and turquoise waters that contrasts with the lushness of the forests that surround the property. The villa is located in one of the most virgin and authentic areas of the western area of Cantabria. One of the great attractions of this area are its almost secret beaches, such as El Pedreru or Amió, and the proximity to highly attractive enclaves such as San Vicente de la Barquera (just 10 minutes by car) or Comillas, (about 15 minutes). You can also enjoy other jewels of nature such as the Altamira Caves (30 minutes), the Soplao Cave (25 minutes), the Cabárceno Nature Park (40 minutes) or the Picos de Europa (1 hour 20 minutes).
The architecture of the villa is designed so that the fascinating landscape that surrounds it, which changes shades throughout the day, slips into its cozy interiors with large windows that do not lack any detail. Distributed over two floors, it has a living-dining room, kitchen-dining room, playroom and seven cozy bedrooms plus a sofa-bed with capacity to accommodate up to 21 people. Although if there is an area that you are going to enjoy it is the private garden, equipped with a swimming pool with the option of heating and an outdoor dining area. Another of our favorite corners is the terrace equipped with a beautiful chill out and from where you will be able to enjoy spectacular views of the sea. From the house you can directly access the sea.
It is a small private paradise on the edge of the Cantabrian Sea where you will be able to enjoy nature and the sea, exquisite cuisine and the kindness of the local people.
