With a façade from a fairy tale, a porch covered with wooden beams and a most welcoming decoration, it is one of those houses that invites you to want to stay for a long time. It is an original Cantabrian stable of 500 m2 restored and redesigned for a dream stay. Located in Lamadrid, a quiet town nestled in a beautiful valley full of picturesque corners, 15 minutes from the beach and a very short distance from charming places for tourist and commercial activities, and if you are also a lover of hiking or mountain sports, this is your ideal option.
La Cotera is spread over two floors and has the capacity to accommodate up to 20 people, equipped with 6 bedrooms and 5 full bathrooms. Its interior enjoys an impressive natural light and an endless number of spaces where you will enjoy a great time, equipped with 3 lounges, a large designer kitchen, a games room and a beautiful 1,500 m2 garden plot with a heated pool so you can enjoy the house at any time of the year! It is ideal for groups of friends or families looking for a different place to get lost and spend time together in a peaceful natural environment, far from the crowds, where time seems to stand still.
La Cotera is located next to the Oyambre Natural Park, on the western coast of Cantabria. Thanks to its location you can do activities such as surfing, sailing, paddle surfing, canoeing, hiking or mountain biking. In addition, less than 1 km away is the Real Golf Club de Oyambre, which has a magnificent course. A few kilometers from the house are the towns of Comillas and San Vicente de la Barquera, which are well worth visiting for their charm and historical-artistic heritage. A little further away is the medieval Santillana del Mar and its Cuevas de Altamira, internationally famous for housing cave paintings. We also recommend you visit the Picos de Europa National Park, where you can ascend more than 700 meters thanks to the Fuente Dé cable car where you can enjoy countless hiking and incredible routes and if you still have time, the town of Potes, located between the mountains, is a must.
